Native Plant Rescue Project

Prior to clearing the land for construction, at least 14 species of plants were rescued and have been donated to various locations for replanting and propagation, with the rarer finds going to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Some of the rescued plants were the Prairie Pinkroot, Coastal Germander, Missouri Foxtail Cactus and Purple Star Milkvine.
